Course Description.
Basic Fire Fighting course teaches participants to bring fires under control and to extinguish fires. Participants are also trained with the necessary skills to quickly and correctly identify the type of fire so that they can select the appropriate fire fighting procedure.
Accredited by TETA, this course is aligned to Unit Standard 252250 – Apply fire fighting techniques. NQF Level 1, 3 Credits.

This course is suited to all employees. All involved in Health & Safety, SHE Representatives, Managers and Supervisors who need to identify, contain, prevent and extinguish different types of fires by operating basic fire-fighting equipment
