Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) course is aimed at healthcare professionals who need to perform CPR (adults, children and infants), use an AED (automated external defibrillator) and manage patients who are choking (adults, children and infants) in a range of in-hospital and out-of hospital situations.
On successful completion of the course (written and practical assessment), participants receive an AHA certificate which is internationally recognised and is valid for two years and are eligible for 11 CPD points
Ideal for Medical Professionals, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Doctors, Paramedics, Nurses, Midwives, Advanced Life Support Practitioners, Personal Care Givers, Lifeguards, Police Officers and Firefighters.
Please note: This course is a pre-requisite for the ACLS ® and PALS ® courses.
